Testing and Access Requirements


To enter the venue during the official build up period, at our MWC21 event – and during dismantling, attendees, staff, visitors, and suppliers will be required to have a valid, negative rapid test result.


Information for Digital Badge holders

  • Upload your valid, negative PCR or Antigen test results to the My MWC app. You can also book an Antigen test (frequently referred to as a rapid test) via the My MWC app. The test result is valid for a period up to 72 hours, with participants notified through the My MWC app of upcoming expiration. No remaining partial hours will be permitted for access to the venue.
  • Attendees can start booking their Covid-19 test or uploading their test results to the My MWC app from the 24th June onwards. Exhibitors can upload or book their test results from the 14th June onwards.
  • For your convenience, there will be a dedicated MWC testing center at Fira Gran Via Hall 1 to address your testing needs onsite
  • Opening hours: Build up and dismantling from 08:00 - 20:00. Weekend prior to the event and event days 06:00 - 22:00
  • The price of a rapid test is €15. The price of the PCR test to return is €85
  • Before entering the venue and to ensure your MWC digital badge is active, you must complete a health declaration accessed via the My MWC app on a daily basis
  • Before accessing our event, your temperature will be checked each time you enter the venue
  • Once your negative test result is uploaded and you complete the health declaration, your digital badge will appear with a green bar showing you are ready to access and enjoy MWC21!
  • If at any time during the event, you feel unwell, please go to one of the onsite first aid points or call our Hospitality medical service at + 34 901123456.   • Upload your valid, negative PCR or Antigen rapid test results to your Digital Contractor Pass account from 14th June onwards. 
  • You can also book an Antigen rapid test via your Digital Contractor Pass account from 14th June onwards. 
  • Your current test status/validity date will be shown in your Digital Contractor Pass. 
  • The test result is valid for a period up to 72 hours. No remaining partial hours will be permitted for access to the venue. 
  • For your convenience, there will be a dedicated MWC testing centre at Fira Gran Via Hall 1 to address your testing needs onsite
  • Opening hours: Build up and dismantling from 08:00 - 20:00 from 15th June. Weekend prior to the event and event days 06:00 - 22:00
  • The price of a rapid test is €15. The price of the PCR test to return is €85
  • Before entering the venue and to ensure your Digital Contractor Pass is active, you must complete a health declaration, via your Digital Contractor Pass account, on a daily basis.
  • Before accessing the venue each time, your temperature will be checked 
  • Once your negative test result is uploaded and you complete the health declaration, your digital badge will be displayed and you will be ready to access the venue.

Any exhibitors and contractors who need to enter the Fira Gran Via venue during buildup, event, or dismantling days, will need to have a negative COVID-19 test result, which will be linked to their badge. Tests have a maximum validity of 72 hours, giving you access into the event on the day of your test plus the 2 subsequent / following event days.

Exhibitors may purchase any number tickets you require for your staff and pay online via credit card. Each ticket will grant a single access to the Testing Centre.

Important Information about Registration & Access at MWC21

Visit our event website to check the entry requirements for MWC21 and follow our quick steps to ensure you are registered and ready to attend MWC21 without any hold ups or delay.


Return Home PCR Test (optional / subject to different countries’ entry regulations)

If required for your return journey, you can book and receive a PCR test at our Onsite Test Centre in Fira Gran Via, Hall 1. Be sure you are aware of and satisfy all requirements for re-entry into your country of origin.

  • The price of the PCR test is €85 – payable at the Onsite Test Centre
  • The PCR test provided is a reverse transcription polymerase chain reaction (RT-PCR)
  • Test results are provided in 24 hours via email and SMS
