BROADCAST VILLAGE OVERVIEW:

The Broadcast Village features international and local broadcasters conducting interviews and reporting live from MWC. The Broadcast Village is co-located with the Mobile World Live Networking Lounge – a Wi-Fi Hotspot – at Congress Square. It provides attendees with an informal networking space to relax with complimentary publications from MWC media and association partners.


GSMA Broadcast Village Contacts:

  • All Broadcasting partners have a dedicated Partnership Manager to be their day-to-day contact who will manage the implementation of their broadcasting space
  • Your Partnership Manager will reach out to you to schedule your kick-off call and discuss the particulars of your package, including deadlines

  • To allow appropriate access to the venue, your Partnership Manager will work with you to obtain GSMA approvals for any special access

  • The Official MWC Website and the GSMA Event App 
  • You would be able to submit your company's profile through the 100 Word Profile form

Satellite Van:
  • Within the package, you are allowed to park your Satellite Van outside of the Broadcast Village area, please see below
  • To locate your vehicle in this area, please make sure you fill in all the information in the Forms & Deadlines page
  • Additionally, if any electrical connection is required for your satellite van and / or to connect the van with the Broadcast Space please contact servifira

CUSTOMISE YOUR PACKAGE:

  • For additional services such as furniture, cleaning, electricity, etc., please contact servifira
  • For IT additional services, including ISDN lines and Frequencies, please contact Fira IT
  • Frequencies:
    • Audio visual equipment of all types has the ability to cause disrupting interference to communications services, hence, we require exhibitors to eliminate such interference from AV installations to ensure that quality of attendee and exhibitor experience is maintained for all
    • If you are planning on using any wireless audio visual devices, such as microphones, on your space, you must submit the Frequency Application form through the Forms & Deadlines page in this Manual

BROADCAST VILLAGE VENUE ACCESS RULES:

In order for broadcasters to access their space within Broadcast Village in Congress Square, there are certain rules that must be followed. Please fill in the access forms to ensure all staff and equipment can access the venue.

Your Partnership Manager will provide further detail on MWC20 Venue Access Rules closer to the Event, and you will receive detailed information regarding the following:

  • Pass Types and Access Types
  • Broadcast Staff Representatives
  • Rules for Accessing and Using stand
  • Vehicle Access pass
  • Questions and Escalation contacts

Important: Photography and filming is strictly prohibited prior to the show floor opening, during build-up or dismantling. Anyone found taking photos or filming will be stopped by security and expelled from the venue.
