Exhibitor Registration Information

The Exhibitor and Partner Invitation System (E&P Invitation System) for MWC Shanghai is now launched. All confirmed E&P Registration Co-ordinators will receive an account login email with instructions for how to access their account.

What is the Exhibitor & Partner Invitation System (E&P)?

GSMA provides Exhibitors, Partners and Sponsors with an Exhibitor & Partner Invitation System (E&P) account for managing their allocations of passes received as part of their package.  Your allocation of passes is visible through your E&P Invitation account.

The E&P Invitation System allows you to:
  • Send invitations or registration codes to your staff and guests in order for them to register.
  • Search, manage and run reports of your invitations and registrants.

What is a Registration Co-ordinator?

A Registration Coordinator is the person in your company who will manage your allocation of passes and invite staff and guests to attend MWC Shanghai.

If you have received login details, however are not the nominated Registration Coordinator for your company, please login to the Online Event Manual (OEM) and click on ‘My 'Account’ – ‘Add Contacts’ – ‘Registration co-ordinator’ and click Edit. 

The new Registration co-ordinator should receive the login details within 24 hours. 


Where can I learn more about how the Exhibitor & Partner Registration System and how it works?

When you sign into your E&P invitation system account, you have the option to read our user guide or watch our training videos prior to using the system.


What is the registration and access requirement?

Due to government registration rules & regulations, real-name registration is required for all attendees. Attendees must self-register and insert their identity card/passport/travel permit number during the registration process. 

All attendees will need an active Digital Access Pass or a networking badge to enter exhibition halls, conference or sessions.


For Mainland Chinese visitors:

  • Real-time ID verification will be completed at the point of registration 
  • You must access the venue using Chinese ID cards

For non-Mainland Chinese visitors:

  • Please bring your passport or travel permit (whichever document you used during the registration process) to the event and approach the “Non-Mainland Chinese Visitors” registration counter have your photo taken
  • You will be given a printed badge and will gain access through the ID gate to the event.
Without your Chinese ID, Passport or Travel Permit, your access will be denied.

Build up and Dismantling passes

Any exhibitors or contractors requiring access to SNIEC via North Hall during the build-up and dismantle period will need to apply for a pass provided by our general contractor, SYMA. (For worker permit, this has to be applied via SNIEC)

Please present your Chinese ID card / Passport / Travel permit at SYMA counter in North Hall to pick up your build-up & dismantle pass.
