Space Only Stand




  • Location: Please check the Floorplan to confirm your Space Only stand location
  • Handover: Please check the Build-up Schedule section to confirm when you can access your space (this varies depending on your stand size)


Exhibition Passes: 

  • As an MWC exhibitor, you are allocated a limited number of complimentary Exhibition Passes for staff and guests depending on your stand size
  • Registration information will be available later in the year

Exhibitor Profile and Product Listing in:
  • The MWC Website and the GSMA My Event App 
  • Product and Services Directory within the MWC Website
  • You can submit your Exhibitor Profile through the Exhibitor Profile form

Power Supply:
  • 230V power supply available from Saturday 26 February 2022 (07:00 - 23:00)
  • Stands up to 18m2: 3.3kw/16A Switchboard with 3 embedded sockets
  • Stands above 18m2: 6.6kw/32A Switchboard with 3 embedded sockets
  • You can select the location of your switchboard through the Switchboard & Socket Location Form in the Forms & Deadlines page
  • Please note: if the Switchboard & Socket Location Form is not submitted, the switchboard will be placed at Fira's discretion and you may incur additional costs if it needs to be moved

Cleaning: Basic Cleaning - sweep and empty bins - will be provided once set-up is finished and every evening during event day.


AV Services:
  • Should you require AV equipment, you can contract this separately with our Recommended Service Provider, servifira. Please click here for more information

  • For branding options, you can contract this separately with our Recommended Service Provider, servifira. Please click here for more information

  • Should you wish to order catering for your stand, you will be able to place your order with one of our Official Catering Suppliers. Catering information will be available closer to the event

Power Supply:
  • Power is included in your Space Only Stand as detailed above and will be available from Saturday 26 February 2022
  • Should you require power in your stand to be available before Saturday 26 February 2022:
    • please contact servifira before the first day of build-up, Wednesday 16 February 2022
    • from Wednesday 16 February 2022 onwards, please go to your assigned Exhibitor Service Desk onsite
  • Should you require additional power please contact servifira

Stand Build & Design:

WiFi & Wired Internet:

  • IMPORTANT: The current government regulations allow for one person per 2.5m2 of space. The applicable regulations are subject to change. This Event Manual will be updated accordingly to accommodate any such changes. All Exhibitors must adhere to any capacity regulations in place at the time of the Event

Double Deck:
  • You have the option to upgrade your Space Only Stand to include a second level. If you wish to do so please contact your Account Manager
  • Please be aware that a 50% ground rate/m2 fee applies to upper levels of stands

Floor Covering:
  • Space Only Stands do not include carpet or floor covering. It is compulsory to provide floor covering on space only stands and hospitality suites
  • Exhibitors are reminded that their contractors must remove their carpet and floor coverings at the end of the event

Frequency Policy:
  • If you are planning to use wireless devices (cameras, micros, etc.) or any wireless activation, more information can he found here
  • Frequencies can be applied for using the Frequency Application Form in the Forms & Deadlines page

New Rules & Regulations:

Platforms :
  • The provision of a platform may necessary in order to cover some electrical installations and give access to services for adjacent stands. It is the exhibitors responsibility to plan for a platform on the stand
  • Please check the 'Important information for your stand build' section in the Floorplans page or contact your Account Manager for more information
  • The general height of the platform should be 10cm. Open corners of stand floors and platforms shall be rounded or angled, if not protected by heavy exhibits to avoid sharp corners and tripping hazards. Platform edges must be fully highlighted and the use of the platform must be included within the Risk Assessment Form in the Forms & Deadlines page

Shipping & Onsite Distribution:

Stand Contractors:
  • As an exhibitor you are subject to sourcing and hiring your own contractor to build your stand or suite. If you require assistance with bespoke stand design, please check the Stand Build & Design section in the Suppliers page for contact details
  • Please ensure your contractors visit the Operations page where all rules & regulations can be found
  • It’s important that you set up your contractor/s in this Event Manual through the Manage My Contractor section. They will then receive login details via email and will gain access to any form you assign to them
  • You can assign forms to your contractors through the Forms & Deadlines page in this Manual. They will then be able to submit them on your behalf.

Stand Partitions:
  • All Space Only Stands must provide their own self-supportive back walling where backing onto a neighboring stand or perimeter walling with the minimum height being 2.5m
  • Any partition wall above 2.5m in height that is overlooking neighbor stands must be dressed from the rear in a neutral colour and without logos or branding

Waste Removal:
  • GSMA has 0% waste tolerance policy, this means that exhibitors are responsible for removing all stand fitting waste, decorative items and any other elements not included in the stand package. Please refer to the Waste Removal Policy for further information
