GENERAL INFORMATION:

The Executive Meeting Rooms (EMRs) are highly functional meeting rooms that offer undisturbed privacy in a formal business setting. They share a communal reception area, reception counter and refreshment area. All rooms offer a high spec design including furniture and basic AV equipment, cleaning and security

  • Location: The EMRs are located at Fira Gran Via and can be found at four different locations throughout the venue:
    • Hall 2.1
    • Hall 3
    • Hall 4
    • South Village

Exhibition Passes

  • As a MWC exhibitor, you are allocated a limited number of complimentary Exhibition Passes for staff and guests, depending on your meeting room package. Please check the Registration section for more information
  • Note: Exhibitor Staff and Exhibitor Contractor Passes grant access to the venue from Thursday 20 February 2020

    • Please send a high resolution colour logo, ready to print PDF file by submitting the EMR Logo Submission form through the Forms & Deadlines page
    • If no logo is submitted, the nameplate will display the room number and company name in standard lettering as shown on your contract
    • The deadlines for logo submission are as follows:
      • Hall 2.1 and Hall 3 EMRs: 7th January 2020
      • Hall 4 and South Village EMRs: 20th December 2019

Branding inside room:

  • Branded graphics inside the room, number of graphics is depending on the meeting room size (detailed information can be found in the individual room packages below.
  • To confirm a custom graphic, please upload your artwork through the EMR Artwork Submission form through Forms & Deadlines page
  • The deadlines for artwork submission are as follows:
    • Hall 2.1 and Hall 3 EMRs: 7th January 2020
    • Hall 4 and South Village EMRs: 20th December 2019
  • If no graphics files are submitted by the deadline, the Standard Barcelona graphics will be provided.

AV Services:

  • Should additional presentation equipment be required, please contract this separately by contacting servifira via email before Tuesday 7 January 2020.

Catering:

  • Gastrofira is the only official supplier permitted to provide catering services in the Executive Meeting Rooms
    • The full catering offer can be found here
    • Deadlines (excluding catering machinery):
      • Monday 13 January 2020: confirmation of services
      • Wednesday 12 Febuary 2020: confirmation of final numbers For catering machinery (coffee machines, items that require extra power) all orders must be submitted by the deadline which will be communicated shortly. Orders received after this deadline will be studied on a case by case basis and cannot be guaranteed

Cleaning:
  • Full cleaning will be provided for all Executive Meeting Rooms and Common Areas once set-up is finished and every evening during event days. Should you require additional cleaning please contact servifira via email
Furniture:
  • The official appointed furniture contractor for the Executive Meeting Rooms is servifira and it is strictly forbidden to contract any other supplier for custom builds or furniture rental
  • Furniture items included within your contract are provided as a set package and therefore it is not possible to change these for preferred items without an additional cost.
  • If you wish to customize or order additional furniture please we will make a furniture catalogue available soon
  • Please also note that it is not allowed to move the air condition or move any furniture between rooms or place them outside your Executive Meeting Room
  • All orders must be placed to servifira via email.
  • The deadlines for any extra orders are as follows:
    • Hall 2.1 and Hall 3 EMRs: 7th January 2020
    • Hall 4 and South Village EMRs: 10th December 2019

Any orders received after the deadline will be subject to a surcharge and/or availability.

IT Services:

  • A dedicated, password protected Wi-Fi service will be available in each EMR location, which will allow you and your customers to connect fully
  • If you would like to order a fixed Internet line, please contact Fira IT by Tuesday 7 January 2020
  • Personal Wi-Fi networks are prohibited at MWC. For full details please read through the 
  • Please note:10% EARLY BIRD DISCOUNT to all IT orders placed on or before Wednesday 18 December 2019

Power Supply:

  • Due to the unique nature of the EMR construction any requests for additional power supply cannot be guaranteed and must first be reviewed and approved as per Health & Safety regulations before a final confirmation can be given. Please contact servifira by Tuesday 7 January 2020
  • Please note: Any request for additional power after the order deadline cannot be guaranteed and will be subject to a surcharge

DOS & DONT'S:

Branding:
  • It is strictly forbidden to drill, staple or fix any attachments to the walls
  • LED and LCD screens cannot be fixed on the walls due to weight restrictions. For these items please use the free standing or table top option
  • Pull up Banners, posters or any other form of branding is not permitted on the aisles
Floorplans:
  • Please visit the Floorplans section for instructions on how to view and download your technical stand plan
  • Ensure that you view the technical floorplans to determine the position of the door or amount of sides leading to and open aisle. When not clear, please contact Freeman, our technical floorplan supplier

Waste Removal:
  • MWC has 0% waste tolerance policy, this means you are responsible for removing all stand fitting waste, flooring and any other material from your stand during build up and dismantling. Please refer to the Waste Removal Policy for further information
