Registration Overview
The GSMA offers a robust and integrated registration process so that you may invite and register your program attendees using your allocation of passes, as well as add attendees to your program pre-event and onsite.
During your GSMA team kick-off meeting, you will meet your dedicated GSMA Partner Program Registration Coordinator who will schedule time to:
- Provide detailed training on the registration system via video conferencing
- Cover how leads are gathered from the MWCericas website and loaded into your account
- Review the allocation and distribution process of your passes
- Provide guidance and best practices based on previous events and statistics
Registration for your program will begin in mid-June. Once you have completed your training you will receive your partner program registration account log in details. Then your account will be activated and ready for use.
PLEASE NOTE: If you are also an Exhibitor, you can access your accounts with your single log in credentials. Once you have logged in click the Accounts icon at the top right of the page to choose your accounts.
Exhibitor & Partner Registration System (E&P)
GSMA Exhibitor & Partner Registration System (E&P)
To invite and register your attendees for MWCericas you have been provided access to the GSMA Exhibitor & Partner Invitation System (E&P)
The E&P Invitation System allows you to centrally manage registrations and program entry. Using the “Manage Passes” and “Manage Programs” functions, you will be able to:
- Invite/Register attendees using your allocation of passes
- Upload your own list of program attendees
- Approve or Decline attendees who apply to your program via the Program Application System
Program Application System (PAS)
The Program Application System (PAS) generates interest and limited demographic attendee data. You may use this application to determine qualified leads for your program.
To begin the process, an applicant clicks the “Indicate your interest” button on your MWCericas program webpage. They are directed to log in to their registration account, or create a new account, and check the programs they would like to attend. If you have chosen to include your program in this process, you can view the applications, which includes demographic data and registration status, in “Manage Programs”.
You may choose to Approve or Decline applicants to your program, and extend one of your pass allocations to an applicant who is not registered.
Adding your program to the system is voluntary. If you decide at a later date you want to be included in this process contact your GSMA Partner Program Registration Coordinator.
Badge Scanning and Hostesses
Attendees will have their MWCericas badges scanned to enter your program. Attendees do not receive a separate badge for your program.
The attendee’s event badge is scanned by your program hostesses. Those “Approved” by you will be automatically granted entrance. Those not on your list will scan “Not Approved” and be asked to wait in a queue line where you may then choose to admit them.
All attendees scanned in to your program will be included in the onsite scanning report. If you allow attendees not on your Attendance List to enter, the scanner override feature will collect and include the attendee’s demographic data on the report
For more information on your Hostesses, please click here.
PLEASE NOTE: Access scanners are included your partner program package. These scanners are part of our secure registration process. We do not allow third party scanners to be used for access control. Contact your GSMA Partner Program Registration Coordinator to discuss any additional scanning requirements.
Extended Hours Access
Extended Hours Access is designed to allow you and your team access to the venue before the event begins. This access may include a walk-through or program rehearsal of your Theater over the weekend or set-up in the morning before your program begins.
You may confirm which pass types include Extended Hours Access in the Pass Information section in E&P. Extended Hours access is automatically included on the Partner Staff and Exhibitor Staff passes.
To make your request, fill out the Extended Hours Access form on the Forms & Deadlines page.
PLEASE NOTE: Due to the large number of MWCericas attendees, please be considerate and include only essential attendees in your Extended Hours Access request.
