Essential Partner Information

Logos and URL

Your logo will be included in several places to promote your event:

  • Mobile World Congress Americas Website and app (URL will be linked to logo on the Sponsor and Partner page)
  • eBrochure
  • Email
  • eShot
  • Signage in Partner Theater District

Your logos are due to us as soon as possible to be sure your presence is on the website on the Sponsor/Partner page.



MWC Americas 2018 Marketing Tool Kit

The marketing tool kit contains the MWC Americas logo, event description and other items to help you market your program as a part of MWC Americas. To further assist you, the MWC Americas 2017 Post Event Report provides the demographics you will want to know from last year’s event to help you shape marketing efforts


MWC Americas Email Campaign

Each Partner Program will be featured in one email during the weeks leading up to MWC Americas 2018. Deadline to submit content will be confirmed shortly by your partnership marketing manager:

  • Logo
  • Session title/headline
  • Event theme

eBrochure

We will be publishing an eBrochure to summarize everything that is happening at Mobile World Congress Americas. This piece will be included in all MWC Americas e-Blasts and is located on the website, which can be downloaded by prospects and attendees.

The eBrochure has two versions that get uploaded in the months leading up to the event.

The eBrochure is one of our most popular downloads. Prospects use this piece to determine if they will attend the event, and to build their calendars. Therefore, it is very important to create your eBrochure content in a way that entices viewers to want to visit your webpage for more information on your program.

New Web Page Request and Changes

Each Partner Program’s webpage will be directly linked to the MWC Americas 2018 web agenda and My MWC Americas App. The content will be synced across the web and app for a consistent and uniform user experience. This will allow us to update web content quickly.

The main Partner Program page will have every company logo, session date & time and theater location. See the Mobile World Congress Americas 2017 example below. Elements of this design are subject to change for 2018.

Your program’s individual page will include:

  • Session Title [50] characters or less including spaces
  • Logo
  • Date, time, and location
  • Description
    • No text limit, but consider that this will be viewed on mobile devices
    • Option to include an agenda
    • Can include hyperlinks
  • Speaker headshots, with links to bios

During your kick-off call and subsequent status calls, you and your Partnership Marketing Manager will discuss what content you want on your web page and guide you on how to create an effective page for the event web site and app.


MWC Americas Press Releases

MWC Americas press releases will announce confirmed event Partner Programs. Press releases can be found in MWCA's press room.


Pre-Registered Press & Analyst List

The Pre-Registered Media & Analyst List is available to Partner Programs in the OEM and can be accessed with their OEM log-in credentials.

Partners may use this list to invite any press or analysts to participate in their MWC Americas PR programs.



MWC Americas Social Media 

The GSMA has various social media channels to promote MWC Americas: Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, Google+, and for our Asia partners, we have Weibo and WeChat. In all Partner Program contracts, the GSMA social media team commits to distribute one social media statement across several social media channels.

The GSMA Social Media team can draft appropriate posts for the various channels, or you can create the messages yourself, however the social media team reserves the right to edit or redraft. 

Visual content is more effective than straight written text and is more likely to be visible to audiences, so please feel free to supply video, images, infographics or any other suitable collateral to be posted to social media channels. Again, the GSMA Social Media team reserves the right to decide which collateral is appropriate. 

It is in your best interest to plan ahead and provide content to us as soon as possible.  If you are unable to provide tailored content, the Social Media team will develop a message that indicates you are participating in the Theatre District at Mobile World Congress.
