Freight Schedule & Wristband Requirements

Wristbands Requirements    

All exhibitor staff and their exhibitor appointed contractors (EAC) must be registered.  Exhibitors and their EAC can access the venue with either a wristband or an appropriate event badge. Once registered, access to the venue during installation does require a wristband. Access to the exhibition hall will begin on your targeted freight move-in date. During dismantle wristbands will be available for those who do not have an event badge.  

Requests for wristbands for the Installation and Dismantle period may be completed via the Move-In/Move-Out Passes form located in this manual. This form is located in the Forms and Deadlines section.

Wristbands will be available for pick-up daily at the security desk in South Hall and at the start of each installation/dismantle day. 


How to register for wristbands:

Exhibitors have three (3) options in registering their EAC’s.  See below options listed on how to request wristbands for move-in/move-out.  

Option 1: Not using a Contractor

  • Fill out the required information and submit once completed

If you are not using an EAC, please request wristbands for your staff by following the steps below:

Please note: Exhibitor Staff event badge permits access to the venue beginning October 25th.

Option 2: Using an Exhibitor Appointed Contractor, and form is not assigned to the EAC

  • Confirm the team members that the EAC will bring onsite

  • Select the Move-In/Move-Out Wristbands form

  • Fill out the required information and click submit. Please make sure you enter the ‘Exhibitor Appointed Contractor(s) Company Name’ when completing

Please note: Contractors do not have access to the Wristbands form. It is the Exhibitor’s responsibility to arrange access for their Contractors. Please make sure you include your contractor´s details when you submit the form.

Option 3: Using an Exhibitor Appointed Contractor, and form is assigned to the EAC (If you have already added your EAC, you may complete Step 3-5.)

  • Log into the Online Event Manual and select the Manage My Contractor Section

  • Submit the required information about your appointed contractor

  • On the top left corner of the form select ‘Third Party’ and choose the contractor who you would like to fill in this form

Step 5

  • Contact your contractor to ensure they received login details to the Online Event Manual. Please explain to them that they are now responsible for completing the Move-In/Move-Out Passes form and provide them with any names which they will need to add from your own team.

The exhibition floor, aisles, loading docks, service and storage areas will be under control of the general contractor and the GSMA. Schedule for move-in / move-out can be found in the Online Event Manual.

  • All crates must be tagged and ready for removal no later than 12:00 PM on Monday, October 25
  • Exhibitors who begin to dismantle their booths prior to the closing of the halls will lose priority points and may be banned from participating at future GSMA events.
  • Union Jurisdiction prevails over all move-in and move-out of exhibits including signage and laying of carpet. This does not apply to the unpacking and placement of merchandise.
  • Setup: Exhibit personnel may set up their exhibit display if one person (company employee only) can accomplish the task within 30 minutes or less without the use of tools
  • Material Handling: Union jurisdiction prevails over the operation of all material handling equipment, unloading, reloading, and handling of empty containers
  • Hand-Carried items: Exhibitors may move material that can be hand-carried by one person in one trip, without the use of dollies, hand trucks, or other mechanical equipment

Request to Work Late Onsite

If an exhibitor requires late work access during the move-in period, a request will need to be submitted no later than 12.00 PM at the Exhibitor Service Desk (ESD).  

Overnight security for the booth will be required and can be ordered through the Security Vendor. Any booths over 1,500 square feet will be required to have two security guards present.

If approved, late working hours are between 10:00 PM – 8:00 AM the next day.

No overnight build work can be requested Monday, October 25.  All crates will be removed by 12:00 PM on October 25.


Additional helpful details

  • Freight trucks that arrive during the target time on your targeted date will not incur off-target charges
  • To avoid off-target charges, exhibitors are encouraged to ship to the advance warehouse
  • Exhibitors and EAC’s may access the LACC venue starting the day detailed in the targeted move-in floorplan
  • Clean floor policy starts at Monday, October 25 at 12:00 PM and, crates must be tagged by 10:00 AM, and will be removed from the floor by 12:00 PM; all other materials will need to be within the booth space.
  • Late work requests will not be approved for Monday, October 25
