BUSINESS CENTER

The LACC Business Center is located in the Concourse Hall corridor next to vending machines and is operated and managed by Image Quest Plus, an LA-based printing company. Services available include copying, printing, faxing, scanning, banner/signs, small package shipping and receiving and office supplies. The business center will be open during daily during show hours.  Please contact the LACC Business Center at (213) 765-4210.

CAR PARKING

The LACC has 5,600 convenient parking spaces available to visitors and located in three convenient parking structures (West Hall Garage, South Hall Garage and Venice Garage). Current parking rates start at $15.00 upon entry. There are no in/out privileges. Please note that parking rates and hours of operation are subject to change based on event activity in the LA Live Entertainment District.

Aisle carpet will be provided by the organizer throughout the exhibition halls as well as any common areas. Standard carpet or flooring will be only provided to:

  • Exhibition Stand Plus
  • Shell Scheme
  • Standard Meeting Rooms

Space Only Booths and Space Only Hospitality Suites DO NOT have carpet provided. Floor covering is mandatory.

You can order carpet for your Space Only booth from our exclusive supplier Freeman. The deadline for discount ordering is Monday, August 16, 2018.

You can also order a different carpet color for the booths listed above. Please note, this will be at your own expense.

Can’t find what you’re looking for or have particular dietary requirements? Please do not hesitate to contact Taste of LA by Levy Restaurants directly. They will be delighted to work on a tailored catering offer for you based upon your needs and create something especially for you.

Once you have discussed your catering options with one of the Taste of LA’ Sales Mangers and are ready to place your order, please complete this catering order form.

IMPORTANT: Popcorn and unshelled peanuts are not allowed in booth/exhibition halls at any time. Taste of LA retains the exclusive rights to provide, control and retain all food and beverage services throughout the facility for the events, THIS INCLUDES BOTTLED WATER. No food, beverage, or alcohol will be permitted will be permitted to be brought into or removed from the Los Angeles Convention Center by the client or any of the client’s guests or invitees without the written approval by Taste of LA. All Food & Beverage orders should be placed through Taste of LA.

CELLULAR FREQUENCIES - SPECTRUM POLICY

Any exhibitor planning on using Spectrum for demo purposes are required to submit requests through our Official Supplier, Comsearch.

Please be aware that:

  • The Federal Communications Commission (FCC) requires exhibitors to obtain an experimental license prior to operations in licensed bands. In addition, coordination with incumbents and consent from the licensee may be required.
  • Separate requests must be filled in for each spectrum required and for each location.
  • Each spectrum allocation is for demo usage only.
  • Coverage must be restricted to your booth.
  • The deadline for Spectrum Requests is to be confirmed
  • Authorisation to use the requested frequency only granted once you have received Frequency Assignment from GSMA or their Official Supplier.

Important Notes: It is not necessary to apply for frequency when using a commercial SIM card from an operator or for Wi-Fi devices. If you need Wi-Fi or use Wi-Fi bands, please refer to the Wi-Fi policy in Forms & Deadlines.

Daily cleaning will be provided for all Shell Scheme, Exhibition Stand Plus and Standard Meeting Room packages. These packages will be cleaned once daily starting on Tuesday, September 11, and every evening during event days. Please note, Standard Meeting Rooms and Executive Meeting Rooms will only be cleaned overnight if door is left unlocked.

If you need additional electrical during move-in or event days, you need to order additional electrical through Freeman.

Please carefully read the Electrical Safety Rules before ordering additional electrical switchboards. If you are building a Double Deck/Two-Story booth and require electricity on the upper level please, contact Freeman to place an order.

Material Handling

As the official service contractor, Freeman is the exclusive provider of material handling services. Material handling includes unloading your exhibit material‚ storing up to 30 days in advance at the warehouse address‚ delivering to the booth‚ the handling of empty containers to and from storage‚ and removing of material from the booth for reloading onto outbound carriers. It should not be confused with the cost to transport your exhibit material to and from the convention or event. Equipment Rental

The official equipment provider for Mobile World Congress Americas 2018 is Freeman. Advance booking of any lifting requirements is essential and will be treated with priority.

Please note that Freeman is also the venue exclusive supplier for equipment rental. If you require any machinery e.g. cranes, scissor lifts, cherry pickers etc. please contact Freeman. For safety reasons, exhibitors are not permitted to use internal or external/third party hired lifting or access machinery such as forklifts, cranes, scissor lifts, cherry pickers etc. All such machinery must be hired from Freeman during Mobile World Congress Americas.
